Ravenhill Psychological Services
Sexual assault is now recognized as one of the more severe problems in modern western society. Edwin Sutherland, a renowned sociologist, was asked why society should treat rather than incarcerate sexual offenders. His response was that sexual offenders should be treated because of the unique harm they inflict upon their victims. A harm that is long lasting and pervasive. A harm that may be preventable. We agree!
Founded in 2001, Ravenhill is a comprehensive outpatient program specializing in the treatment of youth 21 years old or younger with histories of sexually aggressive behavior and for the victims of violent crimes and troubled families. Fire setters and clients with serious mental health issues are also seen.
