Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is facilitated by mental health professionals with specialized training. Consumers will be matched with a therapist who is proficient in treating the targeted issues. Individual therapy typically involves a weekly, 45 minute sessions.

The treating mental health professional works with the consumer to identify specific treatment goals and together a treatment plan is created to assist in the attainment of these goals. Movement toward the achievement of goals will be addressed through the utilization of indicated treatment modalities.

Group Therapy

Group therapy affords consumers the opportunity to work with and learn from each other. This service provides consumers with a safe environment absent social stigmatism or ridicule. Depending upon the type of group, assignments may be given to enhance the experience and expedite learning and recovery. Group therapy is preferably co-facilitated by two mental health professionals. The average size of group is between 10-12 members.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is utilized to address discord and strain in familial relationships. The mental health professional works with the family as a whole to establish treatment goals and promote healthy relationship building. In some cases, family therapy will be conducted in conjunction with individual therapy. Family therapy sessions usually occur on a weekly basis; sessions are 45-60 minutes in duration.

Couple’s Therapy

Couple’s therapy affords consumers the opportunity to address relationship issues with their significant others. Common relationship concerns include: poor communication, lack of intimacy, and conflicts in co-parenting. The mental health professional assists the couple in their endeavor to repair and strengthen their relationship. Couple’s therapy sessions usually occur on a weekly basis; sessions are 45-60 minutes in duration.
